Former USC basketball star (and Galen Central columnist) David Blu was the subject of a TMZ story entitled “I Can Help End Israeli Sperm Crisis.”
You can’t make this stuff up.
Apparently there is a major sperm donor shortage in Israel, and as many as 15 sperm banks are on the brink of closing unless donors step up, according to the Daily Beast.
Blu, as one of the stars of Maccabi Electra Tel Aviv in Israel, was asked by TMZ about his thoughts on the “sperm crisis.”
“I would definitely donate sperm for the Israeli people,” Blu said. “I love this country. It’s important to keep the country thriving.”
So there you have it.
