The Trojans completed a whirlwind stretch of three Pac-12 games in only seven days.
The action began last Sunday against UCLA. Although the result was not as favorable as the first time the two rivals met, athletic director Pat Haden proved he was a man of the people. He led the Trojan faithful through a Harlem Shake, and sat in the student section the entire first half.
On Wednesday, USC upset No. 11 Arizona, 89-78. Eric Wise scored 22 points as the Trojans shot 61 percent from the field. The victory gave the Trojan faithful an excuse to rush the floor for the first time in the last four seasons.
The Trojans completed the sweep of the Arizona schools by defeating Arizona State, 57-56, on senior afternoon Saturday.
There is no rest for the weary. The Trojans hope to ride their momentum as they travel up to Seattle to play Washington on Wednesday.
Expect point guard Jio Fontan, who sprained his right wrist against Arizona State, to be ready to play.
