The USC football team fell to Georgia Tech, 21-7, on Monday in the Sun Bowl. The game was held at Sun Bowl Stadium on the campus of the University of Texas at El Paso.

UTEP hired Tim Floyd in 2010 after the former USC basketball coach resigned amid allegations he provided money to an associate of USC guard O.J. Mayo.

Floyd hired former USC assistant coach Phil Johnson and popular USC forward Keith Wilkinson onto his staff at UTEP.

Floyd led the 2006-2007 Trojans to the Sweet 16 with stars Nick Young and Taj Gibson.
