USC fans might have recognized some familiar faces watching No. 20 UNLV fall at UNC on Saturday, 79-73. UNLV starts two guards with USC connections.
Bryce Dejean-Jones appeared in 18 games as a true freshman at USC during the 2010-2011 season, averaging 7.6 points before being dismissed from the team after separate incidents with a teammate and a residential adviser. Dejean-Jones, who went by Bryce Jones at USC, scored 14 points against UNC and averages 8.8 points per game this season.
Katin Reinhardt committed to USC, but decided to continue exploring other schools and ultimately chose UNLV. Reindhardt had 15 points against UNC, and averages 10.0 points per game.
